Richard L. Jenkins Jr. (a.k.a Richie Vomit) was born in Red Bluff, California in 1975. Richie moved with his family to Sioux City, Iowa when he was 6 weeks old.
Richie found his passion for the arts at a very young age. He started drawing super heroes before he was old enough to read or write.
He also started learning to play guitar at the age of 13 and has played in numerous local bands over the years.
Richie received his first professional tattoo at the age of 19. He later began a formal tattoo apprenticeship in Sioux City. It was during this apprenticeship that he learned the facets of sterilization, tattoo ethics and tattoo business management. In October 2002, Richie opened his own tattoo shop, Jolly Roger Tattoo.
Richie has continued to feed his passion for the arts throughout his life. In 2004 he created the music venue, Cutthroat Alley, which provided local music artists an opportunity to share their music with an audience. That same year he created the Film production company, Vomit Films, and produced and directed 2 full length feature films.
Richie has won multiple awards for his work as an artist and a tattoo artist.
Richie Vomit is now the proud owner of Siouxicide City Tattoo.
